LONG-TERM HEALTH CARE SERVICES INCLUDE SERVICES COMMONLY PERFORMED BY OR UNDER THE IMMEDIATE SUPERVISION OF A REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL NURSE AND ADDITIONAL LICENSED NURSING PERSONNEL FOR INDIVIDUALS REQUIRING 24 HOUR A DAY CARE AND ASSISTANCE.
ASSISTED LIVING IS DESIGNED TO SERVE INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE AMBULATORY OR INDEPENDENTLY MOBILE BUT HAVE DECREASED PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES, AND WHO REQUIRE SOME ASSISTANCE WITH THE ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING. THE PERIOD OF TIME DURING WHICH CARE IS REQUIRED IS RELATED TO THE INDIVIDUAL CONDITION OF THE RESIDENT.
SKILLED NURSING UNIT CARE IS AVAILABLE TO ANY RESIDENT WHO MEETS THE SKILLED CRITERIA.
