TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE PROGRAMS OF KANSAS DEMOLAY, ITS CHAPTERS AND MEMBERS. KANSAS DEMOLAY IS UNDER DEMOLAY INTERNATIONAL WHICH IS A 501(C)3 ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG MEN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 11 AND 20.

GREAT PLAINS DEMOLAY LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE (DLC) IS A YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING CONFERENCE WHERE MEMBERS OF DEMOLAY INTERNATIONAL CAN ATTEND AND LEARN BASIC AND ADVANCED LEADERSHIP SKILLS. THERE IS ALSO TRAINING COURSE FOR THE ADULT LEADERS. DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS IN 2020, THE NORMAL CAMP COULD NOT BE HELD. BOXES WITH GAMES AND TRAINING MATERIALS WERE PUT TOGETHER BY THE DLC STAFF AND SOLD TO INDIVIDUAL DEMOLAY CHAPTERS FOR USE BY THEIR MEMBERS. ON-LINE TRAINING WAS GIVEN BY DLC STAFF.
THE FOUNDATION APPROVED GRANTS UP TO $20,000 TO KANSAS DEMOLAY BASED UPON ITS BUDGET TO HELP SUPPORT ITS EDUCATIONAL GOALS. NO REQUEST WAS RECEIVED FROM KANSAS DEMOLAY FOR A GRANT.
