JOHNSON COUNTY CHRISTMAS BUREAU ASSOCIATION PROVIDES WARMTH AND SUPPORT TO LOW INCOME JOHNSON COUNTY NEIGHBORS BY RUNNING TWO PROGRAMS ON AN ANNUAL BASIS: 1. HOLIDAY SHOP DURING DECEMBER EACH YEAR AND 2. NURSING HOME PROGRAM. WE HELP JOHNSON COUNTY RESIDENTS WITH AN ANNUAL INCOME BELOW 150% OF THE FEDERAL POVERTY LEVEL AT THE ANNUAL HOLIDAY SHOP. CLIENTS SELECT AN ASSORTMENT OF GROCERIES, PERSONAL CARE ITEMS, CHILDREN'S CLOTHING, HATS, GLOVES, SCARVES, TOYS, GIFTS, WINTER COATS, BOOKS AND MORE. JOHNSON COUNTY CHRISTMAS BUREAU DISTRIBUTED VARIOUS ITEMS SUCH AS LAP BLANKETS, SWEATERS, WALKER BAGS AND MORE TO NURSING HOMES WHO IN TURN DISTRIBUTE THE MERCHANDISE TO THEIR MEDICAID RESIDENTS. JOHNSON COUNTY CHRISTMAS BUREAU ASSOCIATION SERVED 10,610 INDIVIDUALS IN 2021.
