TO PROMOTE IMPACTFUL GRANT MAKING, INVESTMENTS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN COMMUNITIES OF COLOR THROUGH STRATEGIC PLANNING, EVALUATION, PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES.

ISED CONTINUED ITS PRESIDENTSFORUM SERIES, WHICH FOCUSES SPECIFICALLY ON RACIAL EQUITY BY DEVELOPING PEER-TO-PEER SUPPORT AND LEARNING NETWORKS AMONG FOUNDATION LEADERS.THE OTHER MAJOR ISED PROJECT IS THE INDEEP INITIATIVE, WHICH SUPPORTS ENVIRONMENTAL GRANTMAKERS IN CULTIVATING OPPORTUNITIES TO INCREASE FUNDING FOR ORGANIZATIONS LED BY PEOPLE OF COLOR, AS WELL AS TO STRENGTHEN GRANTEES ACROSS THE FIELD TO CREATE A MORE DIVERSE AND INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT. INDEEPS CLOSING THE GAP AND RACE TO THE BOARD PROJECTS CONTINUED WITH INDIVIDUAL INTERVIEWS, GROUP SESSIONS AND PRESENTATIONS VIA WEBINARS, WHICH RESULTED IN COMPREHENSIVE REPORTS ABOUT THE CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS AND RECOMMENDATIONS AND STRATEGIES FOR FUTURE ACTIONS BY PHILANTHROPIC FUNDING ORGANIZATIONS AND GRANTEES. ISED ALSO COMPLETED THE FIRST SEASON OF A NEW PODCASE - THE R.A.C.E. PODCAST. THE PODCAST CENTERS ON A RANGE OF TOPICS ON EQUITY,POWER,CULTURE AND LEADERSHIP.
