PEACE EXPLORERS -- PEACE THROUGH ACTION USA SUPPORTED INDIVIDUALS IN CREATING PEACE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES BY POINTING THEM TO PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS THEY CAN TAKE WITHIN THEIR FAMILIES, NEIGHBORHOODS, AND NETWORKS TO DECREASE AGGRESSION AND VIOLENCE AND INCREASE CARE AND COMPASSION. WE SUGGESTED PEACEFUL PRACTICES TO INDIVIDUALS THROUGH A REGULAR ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTER THAT REACHED OVER 500 PEOPLE; BY POSTING MESSAGES AND CALLS FOR PRACTICAL ACTION ON OUR SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS REACHING THE PUBLIC AT LARGE; BY POSTING INFORMATION SHEETS TO OUR WEBSITE, WHICH REACHES THE PUBLIC AT LARGE; AND BY OFFERING VIRTUAL LEARNING EVENTS AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC AT LARGE.

PEACE THROUGH ACTION USA RAISES FUNDS FOR AND SUPERVISES OUR PEACE AGENTS TO LOWER BARRIERS TO HUMAN RESOURCES THAT COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS FACE. OUR PEACE AGENTS LEAD COMMUNITY PEACE PROJECTS. IN 2022 WE CONTINUED TO DEMONSTRATE THE PEACE AGENTS PROGRAM WITH A COMMUNITY PEACE PROJECT IN CALVERT COUNTY, MARYLAND.
