IN 2021, THE OPERATING SYSTEM CONTINUED TO PUBLISH AND DISTRIBUTE BOOKS BOTH PRINT 6 AND DIGITAL 6, AND HOST AND ENGAGE IN EVENTS, WHICH MOVED TO ONLINE 40 BUT DUE TO COVID19 SHIFTED OUR FOCUS TO THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF LIMINAL LAB, A NEW ONLINE PLATFORM FOR COMMUNITY EDUCATION, THROUGH WHICH WE COULD SUPPORT THE GROWING NEED FOR VIRTUAL CONNECTION AND GENERATE INCOME FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS. 14 NEW OPEN ACCESS, SLIDING SCALE PROGRAMS MOSTLY WORKSHOPS AND AN ONGOING PERFORMANCE FORUM WERE DEVELOPED AND HELD ONLINE IN 2021, WITH REGULAR COMMUNITY MEETINGS AND TRAININGS FOR FACILITATORS. WE ALSO BROUGHT ON A NEW PROJECT COHORT FOR 2021 PROJECTS IN 2020, USING A NEW FELLOWSHIP MODEL THAT ALSO PROVIDES DESIGN TRAINING IN ADDITION TO SUPPORT THROUGH MONTHLY COHORT MEETINGS. LASTLY, WE CONTINUED OUR ONLINE SERIES AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR ONLINE RESOURCE BASE, ESTABLISHING AND MAKING AVAILABLE OUR OPEN ACCESS LIBRARY OF FULL LENGTH TITLES FOR DOWNLOAD, AND CONCRETIZING SKILL-BASED DESIGN AND PUBLISHING TRAINING MATERIALS FOR PUBLIC USE. WE BEGAN A PROJECT WITH A DIGITAL HUMANIST TO SHIFT OUR WEB HOLDINGS TO A USER FRIENDLY, LIBRARY-LIKE SEARCHABLE ARCHIVE / DATABASE MODEL.
