THE BROWN COUNTY COMMUNITY WOMEN'S CLUB, INC. WAS STARTED IN 2008 BY 13 WOMEN. IT HAS GROWN TO 254 MEMBERS. MEMBERS ARE DEVOTED TO COMMUNITY PROJECTS THAT ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE COMMUNITY'S YOUTH, SENIOR CITIZENS, AND THOSE IN NEED. THE CLUB HAS NO PAID STAFF AND THE MONEY RAISED IS GIVEN BACK TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. THE CLUB SPONSORS THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES TO RAISE MONIES: GOLF OUTING, SPRING AND FALL CARD GAMES, BRAT FRYS, AND A PACKER PARTY. ALL EVENTS HAVE SILENT AUCTIONS, RAFFLES AND DONATIONS. THE EVENTS ALLOWED THE CLUB TO DONATE 47,000 TO NON-PROFITS THIS YEAR AND OVER 10,000 HOURS FOR CHARITABLE PROJECTS SUCH AS MEALS FOR THE HOMELESS, HSHS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL PROJECTS, AND DONATIONS OF CHRISTMAS TOYS AND QUILTS FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY HOMES.
