DURING THE TAX YEAR, SUMMIT PLAYERS THEATRE COMPLETED ITS MAJOR YEARLY PROJECT, SHAKESPEARE IN THE STATE PARKS. THE SPECIFIC PROJECT DURING THIS TAX YEAR WAS CALLED SHAKESPEARE IN THE STATE PARKS: MACBETH. BETWEEN JUNE 9 AND AUGUST 19, 2023, THE COMPANY PRESENTED 23 PROGRAMS IN 22 WISCONSIN STATE PARKS. THE PROGRAMS CONSISTED OF A 45-MINUTE EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP CALLED INSIDE SHAKESPEARE'S STORY: MACBETH AND A 75-MINUTE, SIX ACTOR PRODUCTION OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE'S MACBETH. THE COMPANY SERVED 465 WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS AND 2,499 AUDIENCE MEMBERS OVER THE COURSE OF ITS 23 PROGRAMS. THIS PROJECT REPRESENTS THE SOLE PROGRAM SERVICE OF THE COMPANY DURING THIS TAX PERIOD.
