PALM SPRINGS WOMENS JAZZ FESTIVAL - NOV. 11-13, 2022 - 10TH ANNIVERSARYTHE PS WOMENS JAZZ FESTIVAL CELEBRATED ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY WITH ANINCREDIBLE LINE-UP OF GRAMMY AWARDED AND NOMINATED PERFORMERS: LEDISI, NNENNAFREELON, CYRILLE AIMEE, LEA DELARIA, CHELSEY GREEN, AND JAZZ IN PINK. A SPECIALTRIBUTE FROM OUR LOCAL DIVAS OF THE DESERT, HONORING ALL THE JAZZ VOCALISTSWORLDWIDE WHO WORK THE CLUBS EVERY NIGHT, KEEPING JAZZ ALIVE. RETURNING TO LIVESTAGE PERFORMANCES SINCE THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE FESTIVAL OFFERED TRADITIONALJAZZ, CONTEMPORARY JAZZ, WORLD MUSIC, AND MUCH MORE. INTERNATIONAL JAZZ DAY EVENT - 4/30/22OUR ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL JAZZ DAY IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN MOREABOUT THE EMPOWERING HISTORY AND LEGACY OF FEMALE JAZZ MUSICIANS.THIS YEAR WE FEATURED YVE EVANS, ONE OUR PREMIERE JAZZ DIVAS OF THE DESERT. YVEEVANS IS SOMETIMES VERY HUMOROUS SINGER/PIANIST SHE CAN ALSO BE A VERY MOVING,SENSITIVE AND POIGNANT INTERPRETER OF LYRICS.
