THE MISSION OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO PREVENT SUFFERING AND HOMELESSNESS THROUGH OPEN ACCESS SHELTERING PRACTICES FOR ANIMALS.

WE HAVE MADE OURSELVES AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC 24 HOURS EVERY DAY TO HELP ANIMALS AND THE PEOPLE CONNECTED TO THEM THROUGHOUT OHIO AND BEYOND. WE SHELTER THOUSANDS OF ANIMALS EACH YEAR. A LARGE PART OF THESE HAVE BEEN DENIED HELP ANYWHERE ELSE. WE TRANSPORT, VET, SPAY AND NEUTER COUNTLESS PETS, MANY FOR PEOPLE WHO COULD NOT AFFORD TO DO SO. WE ASSIST THE PUBLIC AND LAW ENFORCEMENT IN RESCUE EFFORTS AROUND THE CLOCK AND WORK TO REDUCE OVERPOPULATION AND NUISANCE SITUATIONS IN NEIGHBORHOODS. WE GO OUT TO HELP INJURED AND SUFFERING ANIMALS. WE SPEND MANY HOURS EDUCATING INDIVIDUALS BY PHONE, IN PERSON, IN SCHOOLS AND OTHER VENUES ABOUT ANIMAL CARE AND THE POPULATION PROBLEM. WE ACCEPT VISITORS AND PEOPLE DESIRING TO ADOPT. MUCH TIME IS SPEND DEVELOPING A FOSTER NETWORK TO HOUSE MORE PETS AND EFFECT MORE ADOPTIONS.
