IN 2023, OPPORTUNITY CLARK COUNTY (OCC) SOLICITED FUNDS TO CONTRIBUTE TO OUR COMMUNITY'S SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS. BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS, OCC SUPPORTS THE CLARK COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN STRATEGIC GOAL TO SUPPORT PEOPLE, FOSTERING AN OPPORTUNITY FOR SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FOR STUDENTS (FUTURE MEMBERS OF THE WORKFORCE). WORKFORCE CAPABILITIES DRIVE BUSINESS RELOCATION DECISIONS, AND SCHOLARSHIPS ARE ONE PIECE OF THE SUPPORT PEOPLE ECONOMIC ADVANCEMENT PILLAR, WHICH ENCOMPASSES SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND BRAIN GAIN INITIATIVES. THUS, WITH SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING, OCC HELPS SUPPORT THOSE INITIATIVES.
