THE CSTE FOUNDATION, THE PHILANTHROPIC ARM OF THE COUNCIL OF STATE AND TERRITORIAL EPIDEMIOLOGISTS, WORKS WITH THE PRIVATE SECTOR TO SECURE DONATIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS, CORPORATIONS, AND FOUNDATIONS TO SUPPORT THE MISSION OF CSTE. THE CSTE FOUNDATION PROVIDES UNRESTRICTED FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO HELP CSTE EXPAND THEIR OPERATIONAL CAPACITY AND RESTRICTED GRANTS THAT HELP CSTE INCREASE THE CAPACITY OF MISSION CRITICAL PROGRAMS. IN THE CURRENT YEAR, THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES INCLUDING DATA SCIENCE TEAM TRAINING, LEAD, A MID-CAREER LEADERSHIP PROGRAM, AND THE JEFF DAVIS SCHOLARSHIP FOR EARLY CAREER EXPLORATION; SUPPORT WAS PROVIDED FOR HARM REDUCTION TRAINING THROUGH A SUBSTANCE USE AND MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOP; AND A FINANCIAL AWARD WAS PROVIDED TO ONE OUTSTANDING ALUMNI OF THE APPLIED EPIDEMIOLOGY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMS.
