BEVP WAS DESIGNED TO BE A "PASS-THROUGH ORGANIZATION, MEANING THAT WE SELECT BENEFICIARIES (GENERALLY FOR AT LEAST A 2-YEAR TERM), THAT FOCUS ON PROGRAMS FOR VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS. THESE BENEFICIARIES ARE CAREFULLY VETTED BY BEVP, AND WHEN WE DO FUNDRAISING, THE FUNDS ARE DISPERSED AMONGST THE BENEFICIARIES IN THE FORM OF A GRANT FOR THEM TO UTILIZE FOR THEIR PROGRAMMING PURPOSES.

PURPOSE: TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT AND COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE CHILDREN OF OUR MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS, VETERANS, DISABLED VETERANS, AND THOSE KILLED IN DEFENSE OF OUR COUNTRY.

LT JOSEPH P DIBERNARDO MEMORIAL FOUNDATION

PURPOSE: THE GRANT THAT WAS GIFTED TO THIS FOUNDATION, WILL BE USED IN SUPPORT OF FIRST RESPONDERS TO PROVIDE PERSONAL SAFETY SYSTEMS AND TRAINING TO FIRE DEPARTMENTS IN NEED. THEY ACHIEVE THIS BY AWARDING GRANTS FOR PERSONAL SAFETY BAILOUT SYSTEMS FOR FIREFIGHTERS, AND OFFERING SEMINARS TAUGHT BY WORLD CLASS INSTRUCTORS. WE HOPE THERE'S A DAY WHERE EVERY FIREFIGHTER HAS A WAY OUT. AND NO FAMILY, DEPARTMENT OR COMMUNITY SUFFERS THE DEVASTATING IMPACT OF ANOTHER "BLACK SUNDAY."
