23V RECON PROGRAM: 14 WEEK RECONDITIONING PROGRAM TO TRAIN MILITARY AND VETERANS TO LIVE COMFORTABLY AND SUCCESSFULLY IN CIVILIAN SOCIETY. THE PROGRAM ENCOMPASSES POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY, FITNESS, CAMARADERIE, OUTDOOR WELLNESS AND ACTIVE EXPOSURE TRIGGER RETRAINING. IN 2021, 23V RECON GROUP IX POSITIVELY IMPACTED THE LIVES OF 8 VETERANS AND 2 CIVILIANS.


COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: EDUCATION FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS, UNIVERSITIES, MILITARY UNITS, AND EMPLOYERS. TRAINING POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS, WHY ITS COMMON IN MILITARY CULTURE AND HOW TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT MORE CONDUCIVE FOR VETERANS. NEARLY NAKED RUCK MARCH: THE DULUTH NEARLY NAKED RUCK MARCH HELD ON MARCH 27, 2021 HAD 234 RUCKERS. THE ANOKA NEARLY NAKED RUCK MARCH HELD ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2021 HAD 389 RUCKERS AND A NEW COURSE THROUGH DOWNTOWN.


BLADESMITHING: SHARP-ART THERAPY PROGRAM DESIGNED TO MOTIVATE ISOLATED VETERANS TO TAKE PART IN A WEEKLY TEAM EVENT WHILE CREATING A PIECE OF USEABLE ART. THE BLADESMITHING PROGRAM IS A WAY FOR 23V RECON GRADUATES TO REMAIN ENGAGED AND SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCE IN 23V RECON WITH OTHER VETERANS WHO MAY BE IN NEED OF OUR IMMERSIVE 14-WEEK PROGRAM. IN 2021, 25 PARTICIPANTS EXPERIENCED BLADESMITHING.
