THE PURPOSE OF THE 1ST FOUNDATION, INC. ("1ST FOUNDATION") (FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE FIRST RESPONDER FOUNDATION, INC.) IS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, TRAINING, EDUCATION, RESOURCES, AND SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT FOR U. S. MILITARY VETERANS AND STATE AND LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL AND THEIR FAMILIES AND TO PROVIDE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THEIR CHILDREN WHO ARE IN NEED OF SUCH ASSISTANCE.
