OPPORTUNITY SOLUTIONS PROJECT IS A NONPROFIT, NONPARTISAN ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION THAT SEEKS TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF FAMILIES AND TAXPAYERS BY ADVOCATING FOR PUBLIC POLICIES BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF FREE ENTERPRISE, INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY, AND A LIMITED, ACCOUNTABLE GOVERNMENT.

SELF-SUFFICIENCY PROJECT - OPPORTUNITY SOLUTIONS PROJECT ADVOCATED WITH POLICYMAKERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO ADVANCE POLICIES THAT PROTECT THE PUBLIC SAFETY NET OF MEDICAID, FOOD ASSISTANCE AND OTHER WELFARE PROGRAMS, TO ENSURE RESOURCES ARE PRESERVED FOR THE TRULY NEEDY, WHILE THOSE WHO ARE ABLE TO WORK WERE GIVEN SUPPORT AND INCENTIVES TO FIND THEIR FIRST JOB OR THEIR NEXT JOB AND QUICKLY GET BACK ON THEIR FEET AFTER THE COVID-19 LOCKDOWNS.


INCREASE WORKFORCE PARTICIPATION PROJECT: OSP PARTNERED WITH STATE AND FEDERAL LAWMAKERS TO REDUCE GOVERNMENT BARRIERS TO JOBS, SUCH AS OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING, SO THAT MORE AMERICANS CAN EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF WORK.


HEALTH INSURANCE MESSAGING PROJECT - REMOVING BARRIERS TO AN EFFECTIVE HEALTHCARE RESPONSE TO COVID-19:OSP HELPED STATE AND FEDERAL POLICYMAKERS IDENTIFY REGULATIONS AND LAWS THAT STOOD IN THE WAY OF AN EFFECTIVE RESPONSE TO THE PANDEMIC OR THAT NO LONGER MADE SENSE IN THE NEW REALITY. EXPANDING TELEMEDICINE OPTIONS, CREATING NEW FLEXIBILITY FOR DOCTORS AND NURSES TO WORK ACROSS STATE LINES, AND MANY OTHER TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT CHANGES HELPED PATIENTS HAVE MORE WAYS THAN EVER BEFORE TO ACCESS GOOD HEALTH AND MENTAL CARE PROVIDERS.
