TARRANT SPECIAL EVENTS FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED AND IS OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR (A)CHARITABLE PURPOSES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LESSENING THE BURDENS OF GOVERNMENT OF TARRANT COUNTY BY ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES AND ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITIES PREVIOUSLY ENGAGED IN AND ASSUMED BY TARRANT COUNTY, AND (B)EDUCATION PURPOSES. THESE PURPOSES SHALL BE MET BY THE CORPORATION BY (A)ENGAGING DIRECTLY IN THE SUPPORT OF SUCH PURPOSE AND/OR (B)MAKING DISTRIBUTIONS TO TARRANT COUNTY FOR USE BY TARRANT COUNTY IN THE SUPPORT OF SUCH PURPOSES. WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE FOREGOING PURPOSES, THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED TO PROMOTE TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS COMMUNITY. SENIOR SYNERGY EXPO - IS A HEALTH AND LIFESTYLE EVENT FOR BABY-BOOMERS, SENIORS AND CAREGIVERS ATTENDEES ARE ABLE TO LEARN ABOUT THE VARIOUS SERVICES AND OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE IN TARRANT COUNTY FOR LIVING A HEALTHY, SAFE AND PRODUCTIVE LIFE WELL INTO THEIR GOLDEN YEARS. THE EVENT PROVIDES WORKSHOPS ON GETTING THE MOST OUT OF VISITS TO YOUR PRIMARY-CARE PROVIDER, ESTATE PLANNING, PREVENTING FALLS, STROKE AND HEART ATTACK SIGNS, FINANCES, FRAUD PREVENTION, ADVANCE CARE PLANNING AND CAREGIVER TIPS ARE PLANNED THROUGHOUT THE DAY, TAUGHT BY EXPERTS IN THESE FIELDS.


PARTNERS IN HEALTH WAS DEVELOPED IN AN EFFORT TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN AVAILABLE HEALTHCARE RESOURCES AND THE UNDERSERVED ASIAN AMERICAN POPULATION IN TARRANT COUNTY. BUSINESS & ECONOMIC CONFERENCE WAS DEVELOPED TO ENHANCE MOBILITY, BRING INNOVATION, STIMULATE GROWTH, AND ENCOURAGE ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE SOUTHEAST TARRANT AREA.


EMPOWERING SENIORS - PROVIDES HEALTH SCREENINGS, WORKSHOPS, EDUCATION, AND SERVICES FOR SENIORS. THE EVENT IS HELD IN THE FALL.


NE TRANSPORTATION SUMMIT - PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION TO THE COMMUNITY REGARDING TRANSPORTATION OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES IN THE NORTH TEXAS AREA. THE SUMMIT SHOWCASES A VARIETY OF SPEAKERS, INCLUDING SPECIAL TOPIC PANELS, DISCUSSING THE FUTURE OF TRANSPORTATION IN TARRANT COUNTY, THE STATE OF TEXAS AND THE UNITED STATES AS A WHOLE. FEATURED PRESENTERS PROVIDE DIALOGUE AND ANALYSIS REGARDING STATE AND FEDERAL TRANSPORTATION DECISIONS, AND THEIR IMPACT ON NORTHEAST TARRANT COUNTY AS WELL AS THE NORTH REGION (AND BEYOND).
