THE CARE PROJECT, INC. (TCP), PROVIDES GAS CARDS TO HELP THE PATIENTS PAY FOR TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM TREATMENTS AND DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS. TRANSPORTATION IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE IN THE CANCER COMMUNITY. TRANSPORTATION INCLUDES GAS AND UBER GIFT CARDS. TCP PROVIDED GROCERY CARDS AND INSTACART DELIVERIES TO PATIENTS' HOMES TO HELP WITH GROCERIES, MEALS AND OTHER NECESSITIES. ANOTHER ONE OF THE BIGGEST REQUESTS IS ASSISTANCE WITH GROCERIES AND WE HELP PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. TCP ASSISTS WITH CO-PAYS FOR MEDICAL OFFICE VISITS, MRI AND/OR CT SCANS, PURCHASE OF MEDICATIONS TO ALLOW THE PATIENT TO START THEIR CHEMOTHERAPY REGIMEN AND VARIOUS OTHER CO-PAYS TO HELP PATIENTS CONTINUE WITH THEIR TREATMENT. SOME PATIENTS EVEN HAVE CO-PAYS FOR LIFE-SAVING SURGERIES, AND WE WERE ABLE TO HELP PATIENTS OBTAIN SURGERY WITHOUT DELAYS AS THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE FUNDS FOR THE NECESSARY CO-PAYS BEFORE OUR ASSISTANCE. ASSISTANCE WITH RENT AND/OR MORTGAGE PAYMENTS TO KEEP PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN THEIR HOME WHILE THEY ARE OUT OF WORK AND BEFORE RECEIPT OF ANY OTHER FORM OF DISABILITY ASSISTANCE IS RECEIVED. UTILITY ASSISTANCE, I.E.
