"UTILITY-SCALE SOLAR WORKSHOP" OHIO PUBLIC OFFICIALS ATTENDED A WORKSHOP DESIGNED TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO LOCAL LEADERS TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THEIR ENERGY ENVIRONMENT AND HOW THEIR COMMUNITIES CAN TAKE AN ACTIVE ROLE IN ADDRESSING THE DEMAND FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES IN A RESPONSIBLE, FORWARD-THINKING MANNER. APPROXIMATELY 160 OFFICIALS ATTENDED.


"RENEWABLE ENERGY SUMMER CAMPS" ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS LEARNED ABOUT ENERGY - SOURCES OF ENERGY, ENERGY FLOW AND TRANSFORMATION, MEASURING AND CONSERVING ENERGY, GENERATING ELECTRICITY FROM DIFFERENT TYPES OF ENERGY. APPROXIMATELY 300 STUDENTS ATTENDED.


VARIOUS SMALL PROGRAMS AND EXHIBITS DESIGNED TO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY ABOUT RENEWABLE ENERGY.
