IN 2022, SCPC'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDED: 1. WORKED WITH MEMBERS OF CONGRESS AND THE ADMINISTRATION TO INTRODUCE AND ENACT LEGISLATION IN BOTH CHAMBERS OF CONGRESS TO CREATE A STATUTORY DEFINITION OF LONG-TERM CARE PHARMACY. 2. PREPARED AND SUBMITTED COMMENTS TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION IN RESPONSE TO ITS SOLICITATION FOR PUBLIC COMMENT REGARDING THE BUSINESS PRACTICES OF PHARMACY BENEFIT MANAGERS (PBMS) AND THEIR IMPACT ON INDEPENDENT PHARMACIES AND CONSUMERS. CONTINUED ENGAGEMENT WITH THE AGENCY REGARDING ITS SUBSEQUENT MARKET STUDY OF PBMS AND POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS OF THE ANTITRUST AND CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS. WORKED WITH MEMBERS OF CONGRESS ON LEGISLATION TO ABUSIVE AND ANTICOMPETITIVE PBM BUSINESS PRACTICES. (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O) 3. PARTNERED WITH ATI ADVISORY ON RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS PERTAINING TO THE DEMOGRAPHICS OF MEDICARE BENEFICIARIES WHO NEED LONG-TERM CARE. 4.
