THE T COMMUNITY SQUASH CENTER IS AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY REPRESENTING DIVERSE SOCIOECONOMIC GROUPS AND BACKGROUNDS THAT FOSTERS PERSONAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS FOR YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH THE LESSONS OF SQUASH.

THE T SQUASH ACADEMY STRENGTHENED ITS NEW STRUCTURE DURING 2022 BY EMPLOYING DAVE MORRISH, AN INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED SQUASH COACH WITH INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED COACHING ACHIEVEMENTS. WITH THE GROWTH OF COACHING STAFF, THE T WAS ABLE TO OFFER SUBSIDIZED TRAINING AND COACHING TO CSA STUDENTS WHO COULD NOT OTHERWISE ACCESS THE T AND ITS COACHING. SEVERAL OF THE CSA SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS CONTINUED TRAINING AT THE T WITH JOSH SAYSELL AND DAVE THROUGHOUT MUCH OF 2022. THE T HAS STEADILY BUILT A STRONG AND GROWING COMMUNITY FOUNDATION WITH CONSISTENT ENGAGEMENT ACROSS ADULT AND JUNIOR MEMBERS. THE T SQUASH ACADEMY REMAINS A US SQUASH CERTIFIED TIER II LOCAL COMMUNITY AFFILIATE AND CONTINUES TO SUPPORT JUNIOR SQUASH PLAYERS AND THEIR ASPIRATIONS.
THE T SQUASH ACADEMY IS THE PRIMARY PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE SITE FOR SQUASH INSTRUCTION, COMPETITION AND COMMUNITY IN CINCINNATI. THE COMMUNITY OF ADULTS, PARENTS, AND JUNIORS CONTINUED TO GROW UNDER THE DIRECTION OF JOSH SAYSELL AND DAVE MORRISH, INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED CAREER SQUASH COACHES. OVER TIME, THE JUNIOR PROGRAM HAS PRODUCED 20+ PLAYERS WITH US SQUASH NATIONAL RANKINGS, INCLUDING SEVERAL WHO HAVE NOW GRADUATED TO VARSITY SQUASH TEAMS. 2022 WAS A GROWTH YEAR FOR THE T AFTER A SLOW RESTART COMING OUT OF THE PANDEMIC.
WHILE CONTINUING TOWARDS AN INTEGRATION WITH THE CINCINNATI SQUASH ACADEMY, A SEA URBAN SQUASH PROGRAM WITH A MISSION TO SERVE INNER-CITY CHILDREN THROUGH THEIR EDUCATIONAL JOURNEY, THE T HAS CONTINUED TO SOLIDIFY ITS CREDENTIALS AS A DESTINATION FOR SQUASH EXCELLENCE WITH BROAD ACCESS PROGRAMMING FOR ALL. ONE SUCH PROGRAM CALLED SQUASHSTARTS PROVIDED A SUBSIDIZED ENTRY POINT FOR 7-11 YEAR OLD JUNIORS AT DESIGNATED CINCINNATI PUBLIC SCHOOLS THROUGH AN ALL EXPENSE PAID PROGRAM WHICH INCLUDED COACHING AND EQUIPMENT. THE SUBSIDIZATION OF THESE PROGRAMS, SPECIFICALLY FOR THOSE THAT NEED THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT, REPRESENTS THE CHANNEL FOR GO-FORWARD PHILANTHROPY FOR THE T SQUASH ACADEMY, PARTICULARLY AS THE ORGANIZATION BUILDS UPON ITS COMMUNITY.
