LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY - LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY REMAINED DEEMPHASIZED IN 2021 DUE TO LACK OF CONGRESSIONAL INTEREST IN SHARED SERVICES LEGISLATION. ONLY A FEW VISITS WERE MADE TO THE STAFFS OF THE HOUSE OVERSIGHT AND REFORM COMMITTEE AND THE SENATE HOMELAND SECURITY AND GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS SSLC'S WHITE PAPER, "WHAT COMES NEXT: SHARED SERVICES BEYOND 2020.".


EXECUTIVE BRANCH ADVOCACY: MET WITH POLICY OFFICIALS RESPONSIBLE FOR GOVERNMENT-WIDE SHARED SERVICES IMPLEMENTATION AND ADVOCATED ACTIONS TO ACCELERATE AND ENHANCE EFFECTIVENESS OF IMPLEMENTATION EFFORTS, AS DISCUSSED IN SSLC'S WHITE PAPER, "WHAT COMES NEXT: SHARED SERVICES BEYOND 2020."


EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE: HOSTED ONE EDUCATIONAL "BREAKFAST SEMINAR AND CONVENED TWELVE MONTHLY "SHARED SERVICES FORUMS AND TWELVE "WORKING FORWARD FORUMS" IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION (NAPA) AND THE SENIOR EXECUTIVES ASSOCIATION (SEA) ADDRESSING TOPICS RELATED TO SHARED SERVICES IMPLEMENTATION, THE FUTURE OF WORK AND HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT MODERNIZATION.
