OUR MISSION IN SERVING THE ASIAN AMERICAN, NATIVE HAWWAIIAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER (AANHPI) COMMUNITIES IS TO BUILD BETTER EQUITY, INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY THROUGH THE POWER OF MEDIA ARTS - ESPECIALLY TELEVISION, FILM AND NEW MEDIA. THE PURPOSE OF OUR PROGRAMS IS TO CREATE A BETTER AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THE CULTURES AS WELL AS PROVIDE A POSITIVE VOICES FOR THESE COMMUNITIES.

TAKE ONE YOUTH MEDIA ARTS VOCATIONAL PROGRAM.IN RECOGINIZING THE NEED TO OFFER ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE MEDIA RESOURCES, SKILLS TRAINING AND JOB CREATION OPPORTUNITIES IN ORDER TO CULTIVATE A MORE DIVERSE WORKFORCE AND BUILD CAREER PATHWAYS FOR OUR FUTURE SAN DIEGO BASED AANHPI CREATORS AND FILMMAKERS, ACMA HAD DEVELOPED A UNIQUE IMMERSIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR YOUTH CALLED TAKE ONE. TAKE ONE NOT ONLY PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL LEVEL MEDIA SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND PROJECT-BASED LEARNING, BUT ALSO OFFERS PARTICIPANTS OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH IN ORDER TO BETTER PREPARE THEM FOR THE WORKFORCE.


ASIAN PACIFIC VOICES TV & RADIO PODCAST SERIESASIAN PACIFIC VOICES IS A COLLECTIVE OF TELEVISION & RADIO PLATFORMS THAT SHARE THE COMMON GOAL OF PROMOTING AND SHOWCASING OUR ASIAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER ARTS, CULTURE AND HERITAGE NOT ONLY IN SAN DIEGO, BUT ALSO THROUGHOUT OUR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA REGION. OUR FLAGSHIP SERIES ASIAN PACIFIC VOICES TV, IS AN AWARD-WINNING CABLE TELEVISION PROGRAM DEDICATED TO THE CAUSE OF UPLIFTING OUR COMMUNITY WITH A VOICE IN MEDIA, REACHING OVER 7 MILLION HOUSEHOLDS THROUGHOUT CALIFORNIA.
