THE ORGANIZATION'S 2021 ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE:IMPACT LITIGATION: 51 CASES SCREENED, 35 CASES ADVANCED. GROUNDBREAKING CASEWORK INCLUDES SINGAPORE'S FIRST FALSE IMPRISONMENT CIVIL CLAIM, SUCCESSFUL PURSUED SEXUAL ABUSER WHO FLED THE COUNTRY, SECURING SALARY PAYMENTS FROM A BANKRUPT EMPLOYER.CAPACITY BUILDING: 2 YEAR-LONG MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS FOR FRONTLINE CASEWORKERS, SPONSORED BY THE UNITED NATIONS. 26 CASEWORKERS MENTORED OVER 1,732 HOURS, AN ADDITIONAL 105 CASEWORKERS REACHED VIA TRAINING OF TRAINERS, AND OVER 1,400 COMMUNITY MEMBERS REACHED BY MENTEES VIA AWARENESS RAISING AND HELP DESK EVENTS. INCLUDING OUR HONG KONG AFFILIATE, SECURED OVER 7,452 PRO BONO HOURS AT AN ESTIMATED VALUE OF OVER US $2,200,000 IN PRO BONO SERVICES FOR JWB AND ITS BENEFICIARIES.
