MEMBERSHIP & AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT/INTERACTIVE SESSIONS: THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED VIRTUAL INTERACTIVE SESSIONS FOR MEMBERS WITH AVERAGE ATTENDANCE OF 20 PERSONS. THESE MEETINGS PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBER ARTISTS TO NETWORK AND PROMOTE PERFORMANCES AND EXHIBITS. FLYERS ARE DISTRIBUTED, AND SOCIAL MEDIA AND EBLASTS ARE USED TO ADVERTISE MEMBER EVENTS AND PRESENTATIONS.


ADVOCACY: HARLEM ARTS ADVOCACY WEEK (HAAW) - IS A PROGRAM IN ITS 8TH YEAR WITH THE AIM OF PROMOTING AN ARRAY OF ISSUES OF PRESSING INTERESTS TO THE ARTISTIC COMMUNITY. THE THEME IN 2019 WAS HARLEM IN ACTION WITH GATHERINGS AND EVENTS FOR ARTISTS FOCUSING ON STRENGTHENING THE LINKS BETWEEN THE ARTS, CIVIC AND EDUCATIONAL SECTORS.


ARTIST ADVANCEMENT: HOSTED 1 VISUAL ARTS WORKSHOP AND DEVELOPMENT SEMINARS FOR ARTISTS AND ARTS ORGANIZATIONS WITH AVERAGE ATTENDANCE OF 10 PERSONS PER SESSION DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES. CULTURAL COUNCIL. 5) RE-GRANTS TO ARTISTS 6) AFRICAN-AMERICAN VISUAL ARTIST'S COLLECTIVE.


SHOWCASE PROJECTS: SPONSORED 6 EVENTS WITH A COMBINATION OF APPROXIMATELY 50 VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTISTS AND ARTS ORGANIZATIONS. THROUGH ARTZ, ROOTZ AND RHYTHM, THE ORGANIZATION PRESENTED THE FOLLOWING; 1)HARLEM JAZZ AND MUSIC FESTIVAL 2) CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL DAY & 3) A GREAT DAY IN HARLEM. THESE EVENTS INCLUDED PERFORMANCE, EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS. THE PROGRAM FEATURES MULTIPLE VISUAL, CRAFT, SERVICE EXHIBITORS AND DEMONSTRATIONS. IN A VIRTUAL FORMAT.
