THE OMAHA CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC IS A NON-PROFIT SCHOOL THAT BUILDS A DIVERSE MUSICAL COMMUNITY TO ENRICH LIVES THROUGH EDUCATION AND PERFORMANCE.

THE OMAHA CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC OFFERS PRIVATE LESSON MUSIC INSTRUCTION IN VIOLIN, VIOLA, CELLO, BASS, PIANO, VOICE, PERCUSSION, WOODWINDS, BRASS, COMPOSITION, AND MUSIC THEORY. OUR ARTIST-FACULTY AT CONSERVATORY OFFERS 40 PRIVATE LESSONS PER YEAR TO OVER 900 STUDENTS. APPROXIMATELY 15% OF THE STUDENTS RECIEVE SOME FORM OF FINANCIAL AID.


STRING SPROUTS WAS FOUNDED IN 2013 BY THE OMAHA CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC. THIS REVOLUTIONARY MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAM, FUNDED BY GENEROUS INDIVIDUALS, FOUNDATIONS, AND GRANTS, AIMS TO CHANGE THE LIVES OF CHILDREN IN UNDERSERVED AREAS BY PROVIDING THEM WITH HIGH-QUALITY VIOLIN, VIOLA AND CELLO INSTRUCTION AT NO COST TO CAREGIVERS. WITH A CAREFULLY CONSTRUCTED CURRICULUM, EXCELLENT EDUCATORS, AND CONTINUOUS CAREGIVER INVOLVEMENT OVER THE COURSE OF FIVE YEARS, YOUNG SPROUTS EXERCISE BOTH DISCIPLINE AND CREATIVITY.


OMAHA CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC PARTNERS WITH MULTIPLE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN THE EASTERN NEBRASKA REGION TO PROVIDE MUSIC TO THEIR STUDENTS. THE PROGRAMS OFFER THROUGH ST. AUGUSTINE AND QUEST ACADEMY, PROVIDE THE ENTIRE MUSIC CURRICULUM TO ALL OF THE STUDENTS OF THE SCHOOLS. OMAHA PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND WESTSIDE PUBLIC SCHOOLS CONTRACT THE CONSERVATORY TO PROVIDE 30 MINUTE INDIVIDUAL LESSONS TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN EACH PROGRAM.


OMAHA CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC PROVIDES CLASS SETTING AND ENSEMBLE EDUCATION TO OVER 300 STUDENTS THROUGH ON CAMPUS PROGRAMS EACH YEAR. THESE CLASSES PROVIDE EVERYTHING FROM INTRODUCTORY SKILLS THROUGH ADVANCED PERFORMANCE ENSEMBLES. MANY OF THE STUDENTS IN INTRODUCTORY CLASSES TRANSITION INTO INDIVIDUALS LESSONS. THE ENSEMBLES ARE TAKEN BY STUDENTS AS SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATION TO THEIR INDIVIDUAL LESSONS.
