THE PURPOSE OF LUX CENTER FOR THE ARTS IS TO PROMOTE AND HELP ACHIEVE A GREATER UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF ART BY PROVIDING A WIDE VARIETY OF QUALITY ART SHOWN IN A PROFESSIONAL ATMOSPHERE FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF THE COMMUNITY AND FOR THE BENEFIT AND INSTRUCTION OF STUDENTS OF THE ARTS.

PROVIDED VISUAL ARTS LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PUBLIC: ART CLASSES FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS; ARTISTS' LECTURES; ART OF FINE CRAFT CONFERENCE; GALLERY TOURS; AND COLLABORATED WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO OFFER HANDS-ON-ART PROJECTS. CONTINUED TO PRESERVE LUX COLLECTIONS.
