BETWEEN JULY 1 AND OCTOBER 31, 2018, 41 NEW MEMBERS (WOMEN WHO ARE ENTREPRENEURS, FOUNDERS, CEOS) JOINED BRAZEN ST. LOUIS. DURING THIS TIMEFRAME, WE HOSTED 49 POWER HOUR SESSIONS, WHICH ARE ONE-ON-ONE MENTOR SESSIONS WITH SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS IN: TECH, ACCOUNTING, FINANCE + RAISING MONEY, MARKETING AND LEGAL. WE HOSTED OR CO-HOSTED FIVE DIFFERENT BUSINESS-FIRST EVENTS (ONE EVENT IN JULY, AUGUST, TWO IN SEPTEMBER AND ONE IN OCTOBER), SERVING MORE THAN 75 WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS AND ENGAGING SEVERAL VOLUNTEERS. WE ALSO CONDUCTED 42 OFFICE HOURS APPOINTMENTS. AS OF SEPTEMBER 30, 2018, 39 MEMBERS WERE PARTICIPATING IN SIX (6) TOTAL GROWTH GROUPS, WITH NEW APPLICANTS AWAITING MATCHING AND PLACEMENT IN NEW GROUPS FOR THE NEXT QUARTER. DURING THIS TIME, BRAZEN ST. LOUIS WORKED WITH THE ST. LOUIS REGIONAL BUSINESS COUNCIL AS PART OF THEIR ENTREPRENEUR CONNECTION INITIATIVE, A MENTORING PROGRAM CONNECTING LOCAL ENTREPRENEURS WITH SUCCESSFUL CORPORATE EXECUTIVES. WE SERVED AS A CO-CREATOR PARTNER ORGANIZATION IN BIOSTL'S EQUITY IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE KAUFFMAN FOUNDATION.IN THE FALL OF 2018, BRAZEN GLOBAL MADE SOME INTERNAL SHIFTS TO STREAMLINE BUSINESS OPERATIONS TO DIRECTLY SERVE ST. LOUIS AREA MEMBERS THROUGH ITS CORPORATE STRUCTURE. IN LIGHT OF THIS, THIS ORGANIZATION, BRAZEN ST. LOUIS, A 501C3 NON-PROFIT THAT PREVIOUSLY WORKED WITH BRAZEN GLOBAL TO ADMINISTER THE LOCAL PROGRAM, ENDED ITS LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH BRAZEN GLOBAL EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 31, 2018. ON NOVEMBER 13, 2018, THE BRAZEN ST. LOUIS BOARD OF DIRECTORS VOTED TO DISSOLVE THIS ENTITY. INITIAL NOTICES OF SUCH WERE FILED WITH THE MISSOURI SECRETARY OF STATE AND ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICES IN LATE NOVEMBER.
