BY SEEMLESSLY INTEGRATING THE GAME OF GOLF WITH A LIFE SKILLS CURRICULUM, FIRST TEE-SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN CREATES ACTIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCES THAT BUILD INNER STRENGHT, SELF-CONFIDENCE, AND RESILIENCE THAT KIDS CAN CARRY TO EVERYTHING THEY DO. SESSIONS INCLUDE A FUND, GROUP SETTING FOR YOUTH AGES 5 TO 18 REGARLESS OR BACKGROUND OR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE. TEAMING UP WITH EXPERTS IN POSITIVE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, FIRST TEE HELPS YOUTH BECOME GOOD GOLFERS AND EVEN BETTER PEOPLE. THERE WERE 438 PARTICIPANTS AT SEVEN GOLF COURSE LOCATIONS AND AN ESTIMATED 15,000 COMBINED PARTICIPANTS IN THE FIRST TEE SCHOOL PROGRAM AND COMMUNITY PROGRAM
