THE PRIMARY MISSION OF ALWAYS IS PROVIDING LEGAL SERVICES THAT HELP TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS AND VULNERABLE KIDS AND YOUNG ADULTS REMOVE LEGAL OBSTACLES TO SAFETY, STABILITY AND OPPORTUNITY. IN THE 2020-2021 FISCAL YEAR, ALWAYS PROVIDED ATTORNEY AND ADVOCACY SERVICES IN 127 CASES FOR CLIENTS SEEKING JUSTICE. OUR SERVICES COVER A BROAD RANGE OF ISSUES INCLUDING VICTIM REPRESENTATION, IMMIGRATION, FAMILY LAW MATTERS, CRIMINAL HISTORY REPAIR, SEVERANCE OF THE PARENTAL RIGHTS OF CONVICTED RAPISTS, AND NAME CHANGES FOR VICTIMS OF CRIME. ALWAYS CONTINUED TO ADVOCATE FOR SYSTEM REFORMS TO BETTER SERVE VICTIMS OF CRIME, TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, HOMELESS YOUTH, JUVENILE JUSTICE, AND CHILDREN IN THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM.
