CHAMPIONS FOR LITERACY (FORMERLY COACHING FOR LITERACY)[COLLECTIVELY "CFL"] IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO USE THE POWER OF SPORTS TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE PROBLEM OF ILLITERACY AND FUNDS FOR LITERACY PROGRAMS SERVING STUDENTS IN GRADES KINDERGARTEN THROUGH THIRD GRADE. CFL WORKS WITH ATHLETIC TEAMS AND PLAYERS TO DONATE 100% OF PUBLIC FUNDS TO LOCAL LITERACY PARTNERS.

PARTNERS WEAR GREEN4LITERACY TO PROMOTE CAUSE AWARENESS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC MAKES DONATIONS TO LOCAL LITERACY WORK. 100% OF FUNDS RAISED FROM DONORS AND BUSINESSES THROUGH THE FIGHT4LITERACY GAMES ARE IN TURN DONATED TO LITERACY PROGRAM(S) IN THAT COMMUNITY.
