Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

THROUGHOUT 2022, STREAMED MONTHLY LIVE PROGRAMS, CALLED THE MAHLER HOUR, WHICH ATTRACTED VIEWERS AMONGST THE MEMBERS OF ALL 53 MAHLER SOCIETIES WORLDWIDE, ALONG WITH VIEWERS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE VIA YOUTUBE -- BOTH LIVE AND ON-DEMAND -- ON OUR WEBSITE. THESE PROGRAMS EXPLORE GUSTAV MAHLER AS A COMPOSER, THINKER AND HUMANIST AND THE INFLUENCE HE STILL BRINGS TO BEAR TODAY. THE MAHLER HOUR GARNERED 14,400 VIEWS -- A 59% INCREASE OVER THE PREVIOUS YEAR.

TO FULFILL ITS PROMISE TO PURSUE AND FACILITATE CONTEMPORARY, FAR-SEEING PROJECTS AND SUPPORT YOUNG AND PROMISING ARTISTS, IN THE FALL OF 2022 WE COMMISSIONED A PIECE (IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE CABRILLO FESTIVAL OF CONTEMPORARY MUSIC) BY COMPOSER XAVIER FOLEY. IT CONSISTS OF A CONCERTO FOR DOUBLE-BASS, VIOLIN AND ORCHESTRA ENTITLED RESURRECTION OF TITAN.

CONTINUED OUR FISCAL SPONSORSHIP GRANT OF MAHLER & LEWITT STUDIOS IN SPOLETO, ITALY, TO SUPPORT ARTISTS-IN-TRAINING IN PAINTING, SCULPTURE, DANCE, POETRY, FILM AND OTHER ART FORMS BY PROVIDING A FOCUSED AND STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR TALENT AND ABILITIES

MUSIC EDUCATION IS A CORE PROGRAM AND VALUE OF OURS. IN 2022 WE LENT OUR SUPPORT TO THE CHILDREN'S CHOIR OF THE GUSTAV MAHLER CONSERVATORY (BASED IN IRAPUATO, MEXICO) SO THEY COULD PAY FOR TRANSPORTATION TO PERFORM MAHLER'S SYMPHONY NO. 8 AT THE INTERNATIONAL CERVANTINO FESTIVAL. THE FESTIVAL IS VISITED BY MORE THAN 450,000 PEOPLE EACH YEAR AND RECEIVES SUBSTANTIAL NATIONAL MEDIA COVERAGE, BOTH ON TV, RADIO AND SOCIAL MEDIA, WITH ~4 MILLION FOLLOWERS ON FACEBOOK, TWITTER, AND THE FESTIVAL'S VIRTUAL CHANNELS.
