TO PLAN AND PRODUCE COMMUNITY EVENTS WITH THE PRIMARY GOAL OF RAISING FUNDS TO CONTRIBUTE TO LOCAL 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATIONS.

THE ORGANIZATION PRODUCED THE 2023 CENTRAL VIRGINIA CELTIC FESTIVAL AND HIGHLAND GAMES. THE ANNUAL EVENT TOOK PLACE AT THE RICHMOND RACEWAY COMPLEX ON NOVEMBER 4 AND 5, 2023, BRINGING THE JOY OF CELTIC CULTURE TO CENTRAL VIRGINIA , SHOWCASING TRADITIONAL HIGHLAND DANCE, MUSIC, GAMES, FOOD, AND GATHERING OF CLANS. THE TWO DAYS WERE FULL OF CELTIC COMPETITIONS - ATHLETIC AND MUSICAL - AND MANY ACTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. APPROXIMATELY TEN THOUSAND PEOPLE ATTENDED THE FESTIVAL. PROCEEDS FROM TICKET SALES FOR THE 2023 FESTIVAL OF $179,755 WERE RECEIVED AND REPORTED ON THE FORM 990.


DURING 2023, THE ORGANIZATION DONATED $5,000 TO OPERATION HEALING FORCES FROM THE PROCEEDS OF THE 2023 FESTIVAL. THE DONATION IS REPORTED ON THE STATEMENT OF FUNCTIONAL EXPENSES.ADDITIONAL CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THE PROCEEDS OF THE 2023 EVENT WILL BE MADE IN 2024, AND WILL BE REPORTED ON THE 2024 FORM 990.
