RENEW/RENOVARSE: IN LIGHT OF THE DISTRESS EXPERIENCED BY MANY PEOPLE AS A RESULT OF THE CURRENT PANDEMIC, WE PRESENT INFORMATION ABOUT REFRESHING, ENRICHING, AND NOURISHING ESSENTIALS OR WELLBEING. THE PROGRAM USES A HOLISTIC MODEL, BECAUSE EACH PERSON IS MADE UP OF THOUGHTS, EMOTIONS, AND ACTIONS, ENCOMPASSING A MIND, A PHYSICAL BODE, AND AN ESSENCE. ISSUES WILL BE EXAMINED FROM DIFFERENT VIEWPOINTS TO ASSESS HOW THE PANDEMIC IS AFFECTING INDIVIDUALS.
TRAIN MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS TO IMPROVE TREATMENT OF ADULTS FOR CHILDHOOD TRAUMA. WORKSHOPS OFFER CERTIFIED CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS AND A HOME STUDY PROGRAM TO NATIONWIDE COUNSELORS.
CONDUCT COMMUNITY BASED TRAUMA RECOVERY PROGRAMS FOR SURVIVORS OF CHILDHOOD TRAUMA. TRA USES THE TRAUMA MODEL TO HELP INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS INDENTIFY CONFLICT, UNLEARN SPECIFIC DISTORTIONS, DEVELOP SELF AWARENESS, AND REGULATE FEELINGS RELATED TO TRAUMA. THE TRAUMA MODEL IS USED TO ADDRESS THE PSYCHOLOGICAL INJURIES SUFFERED BY INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES IN THE WAKE OF TRAUMA.
