BRIDGES OF AMERICA CONTRACTS WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS TO PROVIDE A COMPREHENSIVE DRUG AND ALCOHOL COUNSELING, REHABILITATION, AND EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM FOR CRIMINAL OFFENDERS AS AN ALTERNATIVE SENTENCING OPTION. THE MULTI-PHASE PROGRAM FOCUSES ON BREAKING DEPENDENCE ON ADDICTIVE SUSTANCES, REHABILITATING THE BODY AND SPIRIT, DEVELOPING A LONG-TERM RECOVERY PLAN, AND PREPARING CLIENTS FOR A SUCCESSFUL RE-ENTRY INTO SOCIETY AND THE WORK FORCE.
