BME IS A GROWING NETWORK OF ALL RACES AND GENDERS COMMITTED TO BUILDING BETTER COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE U.S. BME IS BUILT UPON BLACK FATHERS, COACHES, BUSINESSMEN AND STUDENTS WHO LEAD BY EXAMPLE TO STRENGTHEN NEIGHBORHOODS, MENTOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND CREATE BUSINESSES. EACH DAY THEY HELP TO CHANGE OUR FUTURES FOR THE BETTER. BME COMMUNITY RAISES THE AWARENESS OF BLACK MEN AS ASSETS TO SOCIETY AND UPLIFTS THEIR POSITIVE NARRATIVES, ENGAGES PEOPLE OF ALL RACE AND GENDERS DIRECTLY IN COMMUNITY BUILDING ACTIVITIES AND NETWORKS RESOURCES FOR COMMUNITY GROWTH.

BME COMMUNITY PRESENTS BLACK MEN AS ASSETS TO SOCIETY AND UPLIFTS THEIR POSITIVE NARRATIVE. BME WORKS TO BUILD NETWORKS THAT PROVIDE RESOURCES FOR COMMUNITY GROWTH. BME HAS WELCOMED 40 NEW COMMUNITY LEADERS IN PHILADELPHIA, DETROIT, BALTIMORE AND PITTSBURGH. BME PROGRAMS HAVE SUPPORTED OVER 100 PROJECTS AND COMMUNITY BUILDING EVENTS IN THESE CITIES THAT HAVE RANGED FROM ANNUAL CONFERENCES, RALLIES AND FUND RAISERS TO STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN, FORUMS ON REINTEGRATING AFTER TIME IN PRISON, NATIONAL GATHERINGS OF LEADERS IN BLACK MALE ENGAGEMENT AND YOUTH CONFERENCES FOR RESTORATIVE JUSTICE AND STOPPING THE SCHOOL TO PRISON PIPELINE.
