IN 2022, THE FOUNDATION SPEARHEADED THE RESTORATION OF THE RANG MAHAL GARDEN AND PAVILION ON THE PREMISES OF THE FORMER BRITISH RESIDENCY IN HYDERABAD, NOW OSMANIA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, WITH SUPPORT FROM SONATA SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY LTD. THE FIRST PHASE OF THE PROJECT, THE RESTORATION OF THE GARDEN, WAS COMPLETED IN 2022; CONSERVATION WORK WILL CONTINUE ON THE RANG MAHAL PAVILION OVER THE NEXT TWO YEARS.THE FOUNDATION ALSO COMPLETED THE RESTORATION OF THE GAGAN MAHAL IN ANEGUNDI, NEAR HAMPI, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF ITS BANGALORE OFFICE. NOW REHABILITATED, THE GAGAN MAHAL REPRESENTS NOT ONLY AN OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE OF SIXTEENTH CENTURY VIJAYANAGARA PALACE ARCHITECTURE, BUT IS ALSO, ONCE AGAIN, THE CENTRE OF VILLAGE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL ACTIVITY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PRESENTED ITS FIFTH SEASON OF WEBINARS CO-ORGANIZED WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE, THE MUSEUM OF ART & PHOTOGRAPHY (MAP) AND THE BANGALORE INTERNATIONAL CENTRE, PRESENTING THE PIONEERING WORK OF SCHOLARS IN VARIOUS FIELDS OF KNOWLEDGE FROM BOTH THE NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN DECCAN REGIONS OF INDIA.
