TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES THROUGH INCLUSIVE AGRICULTURAL OPPORTUNITIES IN NATURES CLASSROOM, OFFERING EDUCATIONAL, VOCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS AND SERVICES.

READY SET WORK IS A HANDS-ON EDUCATIONAL AND VOCATIONAL PROGRAM OFFERING WORK READINESS, SKILL-BASED LEARNING FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH I/DD OVER THE AGE OF 16 AND SUPPORTED BY SELF DIRECTED SERVICES. THE PROGRAM HELD AN AVERAGE FULL-TIME ENROLLMENT THROUGHOUT THE SEASON OF 24 STUDENTS STUDENTS ACQUIRED LIFE AND JOB SKILLS, LEARNING TO WORK IN FARMING PRACTICES AS WELL AS LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY. ALL OF THIS PRACTICE PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES TO INTERN AT THE FARMS MANY AGRI-ENTERPRISE MODELS INCLUDING THE FARM STORE & CAF. ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE YEAR, WAS THE FIRST PENDING GRADUATES WHO WILL MOVE INTO COMPETITIVE EMPLOYMENT AT THE FARM OR IN THE GREATER COMMUNITY.


THE FARM OFFERS A 3 TIER MEMBERSHIP: THE BASE MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES, A AFFORDABLE FEE FOR WHICH COMMUNITY MEMBERS CAN ACCESS THE FARM FOR 7 DAYS A WEEK RECREATION, FREE OR DISCOUNTED CLUBS AND CLASSES. THE GARDEN MEMBERSHIP OFFERS A PERSONAL GARDEN PLOT AND GARDENING CLASSES. THE CSA FOOD SHARE MEMBERSHIP OFFERS 20+ WEEKS OF ORGANICALLY GROWN PRODUCE PICKED UP WEEKLY. ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE YEAR, INCLUDED EXPANSION OF THE CSA FOOD SHARE.


THE FARM OFFERS MULTIPLE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC YET INCLUSIVE, COMMUNITY EVENTS AND CLASSES. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO HOMESTEADING CLASSES, EASTER EGG HUNT, FISHING DERBYS, MUSIC EVENTS AND ANNUAL BBQ
