NAPA VALLEY CANDO IS A DIVERSE GROUP OF NAPANS INSPIRED TO SERVE AND COMMITTED TO BETTERING THE COMMUNITY. IT SEEKS TO EXPAND THE POOL OF LOCAL COMMUNITY ACTIVISTS THROUGH EDUCATION ABOUT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AND BY DEVELOPING MECHANISMS TO HELP EASE THE PATH FROM INTENT TO ACTION. IT IS A NETWORK THAT FOSTERS SERVICE, ADVOCACY AND SOCIAL CONNECTIONS. IT IS AN ISSUED-ORIENTED ORGANIZATION WELCOMING ALL WHO WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

NAPA VALLEY CANDO HAS ORGANIZED THE GIVE!GUIDE TO FACILITATE THE DONATION TO VARIOUS OTHER CHARITIES. THEY ACT AS A CONDUIT BETWEEN THE DONORS AND THE CHARITIES DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON. DURING 2021, THEY COLLECTED MORE THAN $607,250 THAT WAS PASSED OUT TO OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.NAPA VALLEY CANDO OVERSEES THE COLLECTION OF FOOD DONATIONS FROM THE VARIOUS NEIGHBORHOOD SIX TIMES A YEAR.NAPA VALLEY CANDO IS ACTIVE IN THE PRODUCTION OF FRESH PRODUCE USED AT THE FOOD BANK DURING THE YEAR.
