HELPING MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN BY HOSTING EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES, FACILITATE HEALING AND FREEDOM THROUGH PRAYER MINISTRY, AND PROVIDE SAFE HOUSING FOR THOSE IN CRISIS BROUGHT ON BY ABUSE. THEY SEEK TO REDEEM LIVES, RESTORE FAMILIES, AND BREAK THE GENERATIONAL CYCLES OF ABUSE.

TRAUMA RECOVERY PRAYER MINISTRY AND LICENSED COUNSELING APPOINTMENTS: IN 2023 WE PROVIDED OVER 238 TRAUMA RECOVERY PRAYER MINISTRY APPOINTMENTS. WE HAVE 25 MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN TRAINED AND WHO SERVED ON OUR MINISTRY TEAM IN 2023. WE ALSO HAVE A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL THERAPIST ON OUR TEAM, AND HE HAD OVER 454 SESSIONS WITH INDIVIDUALS IN 2023. MEN, WOMEN, TEENS AND CHILD PARTICIPANTS FOUND A SAFE PLACE TO PROCESS THE TRAUMA THEY HAD SUFFERED. WE HEAR TESTIMONIES OF GODS HOPE AND LIFE-CHANGING LOVE EVERY WEEK. WE ARE CONTINUING TO PROVIDE TRAINING FOR NEW PEOPLE TO JOIN OUR TRAUMA RECOVERY PRAYER MINISTRY TEAM AS THIS NEED CONTINUES TO GROW, AND WE PLAN TO EXPAND OUR CAPACITY FOR PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL THERAPY APPOINTMENTS AS WELL.


PROVIDED SUPPORT GROUPS FOR PEOPLE WHO EXPERIENCED ABUSE AND TRAUMA AT ANY TIME IN THEIR LIVES. DURING 2023, OUR SUPPORT GROUP LEADERSHIP TEAM HAD 41 LEADERS AND LEADERS-IN-TRAINING. WE HOSTED 55 SUPPORT GROUPS FOR MEN, WOMEN, AND KIDS AND HAD 401 PARTICIPANTS. SUPPORT GROUPS PROVIDE A SAFE PLACE FOR PEOPLE TO LEARN, HEAL, AND RECEIVE SUPPORT.


CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS: WE HOSTED ONE WORKSHOP IN 2023 FOR A TOTAL OF 40 PARTICIPANTS. THIS WORKSHOP WAS OUR HOPE BUILDERS WORKSHOP THAT IS DESIGNED FOR LEADERS IN CHURCHES AND ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY. WE PLAN TO OFFER THIS A FEW MORE TIMES IN 2024 IN ORDER TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE TRAINING FOR PEOPLE TO HELP OTHERS. OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM WAS ALSO INVITED TO SPEAK AT TWO OTHER EVENTS AND PROVIDE LEADERSHIP TRAINING. THESE WORKSHOPS SERVE OUR COMMUNITIES WITH PRACTICAL INFORMATION ON HOW TO HEAL AND GROW IN THEIR OWN JOURNEYS, BUT ALSO GIVE THEM TOOLS TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE.
