EACH YEAR THE VERNON HILLS STINGERS INSTRUCT 75-100 GIRLS IN FASTPITCH SOFTBALL. THE GIRLS RANGE FROM 8 YEARS TO 18 YEARS OLD. THE MAIN PURPOSE IS TO INSTRUCT AND TEACH THE GIRLS THE GAME OF SOFTBALL AND TO GIVE THEM A COMPETITIVE PLATFORM TO LEARN THE GAME WITH THE MAIN PURPOSE OF ALLOWING THEM TO CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR HIGH SCHOLL SOFTBAL TEAM WHEN THE DAY COMES.
