ONE HAPPY CAMPER IS A PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES GRANTS TO EVERY FIRST-TIME CAMPER ATTENDING A JEWISH NOT-FOR-PROFIT OVERNIGHT CAMP. IT WAS CREATED BY THE FOUNDATION FOR JEWISH CAMP TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF JEWISH OVERNIGHT CAMPING AND EXPAND ENROLLMENTS AT JEWISH SUMMER CAMPS ACROSS NORTH AMERICA. THIS INNOVATIVE PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY IN PLACE IN OVER 40 JEWISH COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES. RESEARCH SHOWS THAT KIDS WHO ATTEND JEWISH SUMMER CAMP HAVE A GREATER CONNECTION TO THE JEWISH COMMUNITY AS ADULTS.

THE INSTITUTE GIFTED FOUR ONE-TIME GRANTS TO TWO JEWISH ORGANIZATIONS WHICH INCLUDED PLANNING AND RESTRICTED FUND FUNDS FOR CAMPING INITIATIVES AND FACILITIES.
