IN 2020 HARVEST OF HOPE BEGAN IT'S USUAL MANNER OF PROVIDING FOOD FOR FAMILIES ON EACH OF THE FOUR TUESDAYS OF THE MONTH, FOLLOWING USDA GUIDELINES. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IT WAS REQUIRED THAT THE DOORS BE CLOSED FOR DISTRIBUTION. BEGINNING APRIL 9, 2020 THE DISTRIBUTION WAS STARTED AGAIN BY WAY OF A 'DRIVE-THRU SPECIAL DISTRIBUTION" AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF AMERICUS. FOLLOWING STRICT HEALTH GUIDLEINES AND REGULATIONS, THESE SPECIAL DISTRIBUTIONS WERE ABLE TO CONTINUE ONCE A MONTH AT THE SAME LOCATION TO THIS DAY.
