THE LATINO CORPORATE DIRECTORS EDUCATION FOUNDATION (LCDEF) IS THE AFFILIATED FOUNDATION OF LCDA. TOGETHER WITH LCDA, THE FOUNDATION IS COMMITTED TO PAVING THE WAY FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF US LATINA AND LATINO CORPORATE DIRECTORS. ITS STRATEGIC PRIORITY IS TO PREPARE, POSITION AND GROW THE SUPPLY OF LATINO C-SUITE EXECUTIVES PREPARED FOR CORPORATE BOARD SERVICE AND LEAD WITH RESEARCH-BASED REPORTS AND THOUGHT LEADERSHIP.

LCDEF ACCOMPLISHED THE FOLLOWING: GREW THE NUMBER OF BOARD ASPIRING EXECUTIVES PARTICIPATING IN THE BOARD READY INSTITUTE PROGRAMMING, OUR PROGRAM OFFERINGS HAVE ALSO EXPANDED. THE BRI OFFERS LCDA MEMBERS TWO CONCURRENT PROGRAM TRACKS: THE CORE BRI AND THE NEXT-LEVEL BRINEXT: THE BRI CORE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO PREPARE EXECUTIVES TO BEGIN THEIR JOURNEY TO THE BOARDROOM AND BE BEST POSITIONED TO SERVE AS A VETTED TALENT POOL FOR CORPORATE BOARD SERVICE. THE PROGRAM IS TARGETED AT NEW EXECUTIVE MEMBERS WHO HAVE NOT COMPLETED BOARD-READY PROGRAMMING OR DIRECTORS WHO ARE SERVING ON THEIR FIRST PRIVATE BOARD (LESS THAN 2 YEARS). BRINEXT IS NEXT LEVEL PROGRAMMING DESIGNED TO TAKE EXECUTIVES ON A DEEPER DIVE INTO CORPORATE GOVERNANCE EDUCATION WITH A SPECIFIC FOCUS ON BEING AN EFFECTIVE BOARD DIRECTOR AT THE COMMITTEE LEVEL. THIS PROGRAM IS TARGETED AT FIRST-TIME DIRECTORS (LESS THAN 5 YEARS) AND EXECUTIVE MEMBERS WHO COMPLETED BRI CORE PROGRAMMING IN PREVIOUS YEAR(S) OR OTHER BOARD-READINESS PROGRAMS THROUGH OTHER SOURCES.LCDEF'S PREMIERE BOARDREADY INSTITUTE (BRI) IS A COMPREHENSIVE SET OF EXCLUSIVE PROGRAMS - BRI CORE AND BRINEXT - UNIQUELY DESIGNED TO PREPARE NEW AND ASPIRING DIRECTORS FOR BOARDROOM SUCCESS. THERE IS NO OTHER PROGRAMMING OF THIS SCOPE FOCUSED ON ACCELERATING THE DEVELOPMENT AND PLACEMENT OF HIGHLY CREDENTIALED LATINOS ONTO THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE.
