LEGENDARY KIDS PROVIDES YOUTH AND FAMILIES FROM LOW-INCOME COMMUNITIES AN OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND TEXAS LEGENDS NBA G LEAGUE BASKETBALL GAMES IN FRISCO, TEXAS. THIS PROGRAM IS OFFERED TO SELECT QUALIFYING SCHOOLS AND FELLOW NONPROFITS, SERVING AS AN AVENUE TO BRING YOUTH BEYOND THE BORDERS OF THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD TO EXPOSE AND IMMERSE THEM IN A LARGE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY AND ENERGETIC ATMOSPHERE. FOR MANY PARTICIPANTS, IT ALSO SERVES AS INCENTIVE TO REACH INDIVIDUAL OR CLASSROOM GOALS. GROUPS ALSO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO NOMINATE A DESERVING INDIVIDUAL TO BE HONORED AND RECOGNIZED AT THE GAME AS OUR LEGENDARY ALL-STAR OF THE NIGHT, TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. SINCE THE PROGRAM LAUNCHED IN THE 2015-16 SEASON, WE HAVE BROUGHT IN OVER 5,000 PARTICIPANTS. LEGENDARY KIDS PROVIDES TICKETS AND FOOD, AND TRANSPORTATION ON A NEEDS BASIS.
