SUPPORTS FIGHT THE FAKES ALLIANCE, A SWISS ASSOCIATION, IN RAISING AWARENESS AROUND THE ISSUE OF COUNTERFEIT, FALSIFIED, AND SUBSTANDARD MEDICINES AND THE DANGERS THEY POSE TO PATIENTS WORLDWIDE. FINANCIAL DUES ARE PAID WHICH ALLOWS A RELATED ORGANIZATION, INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF PHARMACEUTICAL WHOLESALERS, INC. (IFPW), TO SERVE ON THE EXECUTIVE BOARD OF THE ASSOCIATION AND PROVIDE STRATEGIC DIRECTION TO THE ALLIANCE'S PROGRAMS AND EFFORTS. DUES ALSO SUPPORT THE SECRETARIAT, WHOSE FUNCTIONS ARE PERFORMED BY A PUBLIC AFFAIRS AGENCY LOCATED IN BELGIUM.
