TO PROVIDE AN EDUCATIONAL, ADVOCACY, SOCIAL MEDIA AND GRASSROOTS CAMPAIGN DEDICATED TO OVERCOMING THE OBESITY AND SEDENTARY CRISIS BY CREATING A MORE FIT AND HEALTHY AMERICA. BY HAVING MORE ACTIVE AND FIT AMERICANS, WE WILL ALSO HELP REDUCE HEALTHCARE COSTS.

PHIT AMERICA HAS A MISSION TO CREATE A MOVEMENT FOR A FIT & HEALTHY AMERICA. THE FOUNDATION FOCUSES ON TWO MAJOR OBJECTIVES: 1. EDUCATE AMERICANS ABOUT THE ISSUES AND COMPEL THEM TO BE ACTIVE, FIT, AND PLAY MORE SPORTS TO ACHIEVE BETTER HEALTH. 2. PROMOTE AND SUPPORT GRASSROOTS AND SCHOOL-BASED PROGRAMS WHICH WILL GET MORE AMERICANS ACTIVE, FIT AND HEALTHY. THE NET BENEFIT OF OUR EFFORTS, BESIDES HAVING MORE FIT AND HEALTHY AMERICANS, IS TO PREVENT AND REDUCE HEALTH CARE COSTS. RESEARCH BY THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION SHOWS 1 INVESTED IN PHYSICAL ACTIVITY CAN REDUCE HEALTH CARE SPENDING BY 3.20. IN REALITY, WE HAVE MORE OF A SICK-CARESYSTEM THAN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. WE TREAT PEOPLE AFTER THEY GET SICK. PHIT AMERICA WANTS TO REDEFINE HEALTH CARE TO HAVE MORE PREVENTION. TRUE HEALTH CARE HAS TO INCLUDE IMPROVED FITNESS AND ACTIVITY-BASED INITIATIVES TO PREVENT SICK CARE EXPENSES BEFORE THEY HAPPEN.
