DURING 2021 THE CAMPION FUND WROTE THE SCRIPT FOR THE THREE VIDEOS, EXTENSIVELY REVIEWED THE GRAPHS, ILLUSTRATIONS, CREATIVE CARTOONS, AND AMINATIONS FOR THE VIDEOS. WE OBTAINED ALL COPYRIGHT PERMISSIONS FROM CORRESPONDING AUTHORS AND PUBLISHERS OF ALL THE SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES INCLUDING GRAPHS CITED IN THE VIDEOS, AND REVIEWED THE VOICE OVER PRODUCED BY PROFESSIONAL ACTORS. WE HELD AN EDUCATIONAL MEETING FOR LAY PERSONS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FIBROID FOUNDATION AND ORGANIZED THE SCIENTIFIC SPEAKERS AND ENSURED THE ACCURACY OF THEIR PRESENTATIONS. OVER 800 PERSONS ATTENDED THIS VIRTUAL FIBROID SUMMIT 2021. WE STARTED THE PLANNING PROCESS ALONG WITH A NEW FOUNDATION, THE FIBROID FOUNDATION AFRICA, LOCATED IN GHANA FOR A TWO-DAY VIRTUAL MEETING OF PHYSICIANS, AND INTERESTED LAY PERSONS IN 9 COUNTRIES IN AFRICA TO RAISE AWARENESS AND TO DISCUSS THE INCIDENCE, CURRENT TREATMENT AVAILABLE, RESEARCH PROJECTS AND MYTHS THAT CAUSE BARRIERS TO CARE WITH THE GOAL OF PROVIDING ORGANIZATIONAL EFFORTS BETWEEN COUNTRIES AND TO IMPROVE CARE ON THE CONTINENT. THE IDEA OF THE MEETING HELD IN FEBRUARY 2022 WAS TO PROPOSE A PLAN OF ACTION FOR THE NEXT STEPS IN ENCOURAGING IMPROVED PATIENT CARE, RESEARCH AND EDUCATION ON THE TOPIC OF UTERINE FIBROIDS. WE ALSO AWARDED THE CAMPION AWARD TO TWO JUNIOR SCIENTISTS, ALICIA CHI, PHD AND CHRISTINE CRUTE, PHD STUDENT FOR OUTSTANDING PRESENTATIONS OF THEIR RESEARCH AT THE TRIANGLE CONSORTIUM FOR REPRODUCTIVE BIOLOGY AT THE ANNUAL MEETING HELD IN NORTH CAROLINA. WE PUBLISHED ON LINE EDUCATIONAL BLOGS ON IMPORTANT TOPICS ON REPRODUCTION ON A MONTHLY BASIS AND SENT OUT EDUCATIONAL NEWSLETTERS TO OUR SUBSCRIBERS MONTHLY. WE HELD OUR ANNUAL GALA IN JUNE 2021. WHILE THIS WAS A FUNDRAISER, JAMES H SEGARS, MD PRESENTED ON THE TOPIC OF CURRENT RESEARCH IN THE AREA OF UTERINE FIBROIDS WHICH WAS FOLLOWED BY A QUESTION-AND-ANSWER PERIOD AND A DISCUSSION ON TRAINING THE NEST GENERATION OF REPRODUCTIVE SCIENTISTS. SHARON CLARK, HIRED AS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR ASSISTED WITH FUNDRAISING AND MARKETING AS WELL AS WITH THE AFRICAN FIBROID MEETING.
