Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3

THROUGH OUR PROGRAM, RANCHIN' VETS SERVED 149 VETERANS, ACROSS 33 STATES DURING 2022. WE EXPANDED THE FEATURES OF OUR VETERAN COMMUNITY (ONLINE PORTAL) TO ALLOW FOR DIRECT COMMUNICATION BETWEEN OUR VETERAN COMMITTEE BOARD MEMBERS AND THE VETERANS WE SERVE IN OUR PROGRAM. IN ADDITION TO THE REGULAR POSTINGS OF AGRICULTURE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES WE HAVE INCREASED THE CONTENT OF PERTINENT VETERAN RESOURCES. EACH REGISTERED VETERAN IN OUR PROGRAM HAS ACCESS TO THE VETERAN COMMUNITY PORTAL. HERE THEY ARE PROVIDED WITH NATIONAL AND LOCAL AGRICULTURAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND ACCESS TO TRAINING AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS. ALL THE VETERANS ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN OUR PROGRAM ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE SUPPORT WE OFFER TOWARDS THEIR HOUSING, TRANSPORTATION, AND CLOTHING EXPENSES AS THEY BEGIN THEIR NEW CAREER. ADDITIONALLY, OF THE VETERANS SERVED IN OUR PROGRAM, 44 PARTICIPATED IN AN AG TRAINING OR EDUCATION PROGRAM DURING THE 2022 CALENDAR YEAR. AG EMPLOYERS SEE THE VALUE IN HIRING A VETERAN, DESPITE THEIR LACK OF PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE. EMPLOYERS WHO HAVE HIRED VETERANS WITHIN OUR PROGRAM REPORT THAT A VETERAN BRINGS AN UNPARALLELED WORK ETHIC AND SKILL SET THAT INSPIRES THEIR CO-WORKERS AND EMPLOYERS. THE VETERANS REGISTERED IN OUR PROGRAM HAVE A UNIQUE ADDED OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN TRAINING AND HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WHILE SEEKING EMPLOYMENT OR FURTHERING THEIR AG CAREER. WE CAN CONNECT THE VETERANS IN OUR PROGRAM TO TRAINING CLASSES WHICH ALLOWS THEM TO ADD THIS VALUABLE EXPERIENCE TO THEIR RESUME, MAKING THEM AN EVEN MORE COMPETITIVE CANDIDATE. IN 2022, 81% OF THE VETERANS IN OUR PROGRAM ACHIEVED HANDS ON EXPERIENCE AND EXPANDED THEIR KNOWLEDGE THROUGH THEIR AG EMPLOYMENT AND PARTICIPATION IN AN EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING COURSE MADE AVAILABLE TO THEM. AS AN ORGANIZATION, RANCHIN' VETS IS MOTIVATED AND DETERMINED THAT THE VETERANS IN OUR PROGRAM HAVE THE SUPPORT THEY NEED AS THEY TRANSITION FROM THEIR MILITARY CAREERS TO THEIR CIVILIAN AGRICULTURE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES. WITH OUR EXPANDED VETERAN OUTREACH, WE ARE REGISTERING AN AVERAGE OF 8 NEW VETERANS MONTHLY AND ARE ON TARGET TO AGAIN DOUBLE, IN 2023, THE NUMBER OF VETERANS WE SERVE. OUR OPERATION HIRE A VET PROGRAM PROVIDES GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT TO THE VETERANS WE SERVE, ACCOMPLISHING THE GOALS OF OUR MISSION STATEMENT: THE MISSION OF RANCHIN' VETS IS TO ASSIST IN THE REINTEGRATION OF VETERANS FROM MILITARY TO CIVILIAN LIFE THROUGH A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS OFFERED WITHIN THE RANCHING AND AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY.
