LVC PROVIDES A TRANSITIONAL HOME FOR HOMELESS WOMEN VETERANS WHERE THEY CAN LIVE UP TO A YEAR WHILE PARTICIPATING IN PROGRAMS FOR HEALING: INCLUDING SELF-ESTEEM CLASSES, NUTRITIONAL CLASSES, RESUME BUILDING, INTERVIEWING SKILLS, DRESSING FOR SUCCESS, COUNSELING, AND RESTORING RELATIONSHIPS. LVC ALSO SPONSORS FIVE EVENTS TO PROVIDE WOMEN VETERANS WITH RESOURCES THAT ADDRESS THEIR CONCERNS,AND TO HELP DEVELOPE RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER VETERANS. LVC HOST A WEEK OF VALOR INCLUDING THE VA5K RUN TO SUPPORT THE LEXINGTON VA HEALTH CARE SERVICES. LVC HOST A TOWN HALL MEETING, A WOMEN VETERANS APPRECIATION DINNER AND A VETERANS DAY PARADE. I.ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF LADY VETERANS CONNECT IN 2021: A.SERVICE PROVIDED: 2 RESIDENTS ON SITE - LIMITED DUE TO COVID. B.COUNSELING SERVICES PROVIDED: 48 VETERANS PRESENT AT DAY OF VALOR 150 VETERANS PRESENT AT WEEK OF VALOR 29 VETERANS ATTENDED RETREATS 115 VETERANS WERE HONORED FOR THEIR SERVICE AT THE GALA 62 VETERANS WHO ATTENDED MEETUPS C.DONATIONS MADE: 81 GIFT CARDS OF 50 MADE TO VETERANS 3 VETERANS RECEIVED RENT ASSISTANCE 67 VETERANS RECEIVED FURNITURE,CLEANING OR PERSONAL HYGINE SUPPLIES 70 VETERAN RECEIVED FOOD BOXES
